I know for the Q, Qusers.com is a good site for information about software and such. There is a tutorial on how to put a nintendo emulator on there, which I think is cool. Im sure the procedure is similar for any other windows based phone.

I have a Q and Google Maps and Pocket Nester are both awesome. Resco Registry is great if you want to do any reg hacks.
Oh, and for anyone with a Q, Candlelight is a must for extending battery life.
