I rarely open raise AA in PLO. Most top PLO players agree with this. The only exception would be when you are late in a tournament and the blind/stack ratios are low, esp in position.

Annette,nearly every single PLO player who has had success in the big game online has adopted a strategy of never 3-betting vs. an open raise when in the blinds. Even a strong suited aces hand is a flat call. I can only think of one winner who doesn't play like this.

I only play live action PLO my limits are 1-2-5 and 5-10-25. i know its weird having three blinds but thats how they do it in the south, first off im gona tell you annette that the best PLO games are for sure located during the WSOP and WPT events in tunica, they have more Omaha cash games going that NL it seems like, I dunno why but n the south they love Omaha. I am a consistant winner in omaha and patience is the Key, I also never re-raise untill the turn or river. sometimes I just flat call with the nutz on the river when I know im not gona get called when I reraise and they look at me funny when I just call them with the nutz, but by doing that the players tend to give me more free cards in fear im checking the nutz.

And people wonder why the PLO games are so much easier to beat than HE nowadays. There are so many players that are just way, way off the mark that it's ridiculous. I really need to just chain myself to the computer for a while and put in hands, because there's so much easy money out there.

My problem is that when I'm winning consistently, I start getting lazy and I don't put in enough hands. I guess Thanksgiving and all the good football games were a pretty good excuse the last few days, but I've still only put in about 55 hours in all of November and that's pathetic. I'm going to be in Mexico for a week in December too and I really need to at least get to Supernova on Stars before the end of the year.
