This statement seems to assume that large countries for some reason should have a higher per capita income than small ones. But the top 7 countries in per capita GDP all have a population much smaller than Canada's. What are you trying to say?
(Not to mention that most of the countries at the top of this ranking are more socialist than Canada anyway.)
