unless they have ridiculous seasons, any player playing on a non playoff team will not get much consideration at all for mvp. so i'll actually support the absence of ramirez cabrera howard etc. phils can still make the playoffs but i dont really like calling howard the mvp when his numbers are really down from last year and rollins has had a much better season imo.

a couple weeks ago i was gonna say reyes wud be mvp, but hes been slumping lately, and even tho he only batted 300 last year, something about him just seems not as good this year. Wright on the other hand has been so consistent the entire season and if he keeps his current pace he'll have .320 / 30 / 100 / 30sbs. i think the 30 sbs puts him over the top for mvp
