"optimal" means unexploiatable. If you play SAGE, even Doyle does not have an edge against you. But, some players are too tight, in which case you should widen your shoving range, and some people suck at flop play, in which case minraising and limpimg might be acceptable, but usually I would just reccomend sticking to SAGE, you certainly can't go wrong with it.

I agree using SAGE is the best way to approach this situation. The R in the SAGE chart only goes up to 7 bb's though. I usually just go with 28 points for 8 bb's, 29 points for 9 bb's, 30 points for 10 bb's, but I think you have to adapt it slightly as stacks get a little deeper. Shoving J6 suited (30 points) with 10 bb's against a villain that has a very wide calling range doesn't seem to be +ev imo.
