He said "that Ron Paul" - ie the younger version. I think the older version can get more traction. He has twenty more years of consistency, something Mitt Romney doesn't have 6 months of. Also, he was a bit too fiery back then, I think it turns people off to the message. He's very good about keeping his cool now and I think it helps get the message over.

I agree, the 73 year old Ron Paul is much more palatable to the American people than the 53 year old Ron Paul.
