I make a full house on the river
can't remember the hand exactly but it went something like this:
Villain is a pretty good player in my opinion. He is aggressive in 'good' spots and he doesn't call too much postflop. Preflop he is raising his button and folding his big blind to a raise often. I was doing something similiar.
This is heads up play.
$2/$4 no limit
sb: Villian $450
bb: Hero $480
Dealt to hero: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
sb/button raises to $14
hero bb calls $10
Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (~$26)
hero checks
I thought there was a very good chance he would make a continuation bet. I was going for a check raise.
villian bets $25
hero raises to $75
villian calls $50
turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($175)
hero checks
ok, he called my raise, one of the hands that might do that is a flush draw, which I am a little afraid of. He might have an overpair or something.
villian bets: $130
He bets big, I may have the best hand yet and I have outs against a flush.
hero calls: $130
River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($435)
There is about $220 left in stacks effectively.
hero ?
I don't want him checking behind for sure. He looks pot committed to me but I don't want him folding a hand he may bet. What is the best line on this river? Also looking for comments on all streets. I will post the results later.
