Normally I am completely against sporting event proposals, I find them cheesy and completely lame--in fact that was my fiancee's one request for when I proposed was for it to not be at a game of some sort. I've always wondered this, and maybe the OP can fill me in. Does a couple typically talk about and agree to getting married beforehand, or is the proposal a huge surprise?
