Default SHEEP Playoffs - Week 1 of 5 (Friday Reveal) - Everyone can play!!

It's a lazy, rainy Sunday, so I'm getting these up a day early this week. I doubt this will be a regular thing. After twelve competitive weeks of the regular season, now we move on to the 1st Sheep Playoffs!! 20 of you have qualified for the playoffs with your performances over the last few months, and in five week, one of you will be crowded the Inaugural Sheep Champion!! What an honor!!

First and foremost, EVERYONE CAN STILL PLAY. In fact, everyone is still encouraged to still play, as bigger games are better, and I will also keep a seperate standings over these five weeks for the non-Championship participants. Actually, because everything "resets" this week, it's also a very good week for first-timers to join and start on equal footing. First timers would be part of the "consolation standings", just like everyone else not in the Top 20.

I've explained the playoff scoring before, but the gist of it is that first place will receive points equal to the number of people entered in the game, second will receive one point less, etc. All the way down to last place, which will receive one point. The top three finishers will also receive bonus points (10-5-2). Points are now cumulative over the five weeks, so there is absolutely no advantage to intentionally skipping a week. It's very likely the winner will play all five.

Just like in the regular season, the deadline will be 12:30PM EDT Friday, and entries and changes will be accepted up until then. That's long-winded enough... here are this week's questions:

POG SHEEP PLAYOFFS - WEEK 1 OF 5

1. An exciting Winter Olympic sport *
2. A popular daily newspaper
3. Funny _______
4. A long-running Broadway show
5. An actor known for his sex appeal
6. A type of meat on an Italian sub
7. An Aerosmith song
8. The longest you'd consider waiting for a table at a restaurant (give your answer in minutes)
9. Something men borrow from each other
10. Slow _______
11. A musical instrument that is considered "romantic"
12. A type of deadly snake

*
Being semi-general is fine on this one. For example, you wouldn't need to differentiate between "women's badminton", "men's badminton", and "doubles badminton" if badminton were a Winter Olympic sport.
