How many other people root for an NCAA team other than the school they attended (attend)? I'm mostly referring to those who went to a BCS/D1 school but didn't adopt that team. If you went to Yale then it's normal to have Nebraska, for example, as your favorite team.
I'm about to graduate from Arizona State, but remain an Ohio State fan because I've rooted for them all my life. My entire family on both sides is from Ohio. Since I was four or five I've watched games with relatives who were big tOSU fans. I wasn't going to switch allegiances because I attend a different school for reasons that have nothing to do with football.
