Are you confusing clubs(dance) with bars? I am from old-school-like East Coast style bars but we would go to certain joints that had such things, all the things above (except maybe bowling). All American Legion/VFW/Eagle like bars have such things are well.

any decent bowling alley is more of a bar than a place to go bowling anyway.
