So I compiled a list and went to about 15 places, writing down for English-speakers where to find them, how to read the stall/menu in Thai and how to order in Thai. I would love to expand that idea for tons of other food/cultures worldwide.

They had a legitimate mexican restaurant, the best burger place in Thailand (by miles, I ate there twice in one day), and a good barbecue and ribs joint run by an old retired navy guy from Alabama who was awesome and it felt like home. Even had cornbread and hushpuppies
