I think if a bad villain does call the turn with a flush, he'll call the river as well at least half the time. So if he's going to have a flush 70% of the time as you say, then just get your stack in.
If you had a slightly larger stack, I'd be more inclined to check, but it's easy for a station to rationalize calling for < 1/2 the pot and I think even bad players will usually lead out with a boat here.
