He's so wrong. Making a minicash of $400 has zero influence on me buying a new pair of sunglasses.
I don't spend more than $10 on sunglasses so I am pretty much able to buy them without the mini-cash.
He's correct that I could use a new IPod though and very likely might spend the money on that.
