At the time obv. I was thinking it wouldn't even matter because they were short and would be committed anyway, and if they're eric (with $400) was really bad he might call and I could induce a huge mistake if he folds to a CBet on the flop getting a bazillion to one.

BUT I think the psychological advantage that shoving gives me is better.

If you've got a solid image, you have a shot at folding out hands like T4 and J4 also. As played, this seems good, clearly your opponent is open shoving 7c4c. Spots like these are hugely +EV and are what make 2p2'ers the best players online.
