Thats stupid unless you're a proffessional sports bettor. If I like someone enough to enjoy the fight without betting why should I bet against him just for a little value bet? I make more than enough playing poker and the 300 or 1k bet I make is pretty meaningless. If I bet its for enjoyment only, I'll only bet if the dude I like is a dog getting a decent price, or if I dont know either of the guys and I feel I can make a good bet to make the fight more exciting. I dont see anything wrong with that.
