no this was 100% player specific. This guy was a maniacal aggrotard who would bet anything anywhere where I would show weakness. He only didnt call much when I took strong lines (raise pf, bet flop, bet turn (there he usually folded).
And by having shown down strong hands where I took the straight forward approach this was designed to make him think im FOS (or on a FD).
