Wasn't paying attention the first time (lol donkaments) and rewatched it. The very first scene clearly illustrates the theme for the rest of the episode. Lyla telling Dexter what to do while having sex with her than after they finish this conversation happens.
Dexter: You really know what you want don't you
Lyla: If you don't mind some men do.
