Default The problem with Sklansky books

If I could narrow it down to one thing, I'd say it's the fact that he tries to be correct, rather than trying to teach you to play poker. You can't really say there's anything "incorrect" about it, and that's what he seems to take pride in. The problem is when you're done reading, you can't really go to a casino and have confidence that you know how to play (because you probably don't know how.) NLHTAP is a good example. Contrast that with HOH, SSH, or ITH.
