You're right because folding through hundreds of unskilled people for 1 top prize is soooooooo much easier then working to get money from 1-3 people at 1 table. Likewise, playing heads up (ONE player at ONE table) is the easiest form of poker, and most people learn the game heads up, because of its incredible simplicity. Cash game players have a harder time transitioning to MTT, i think????, but there are high volume MTT players that are very good NLHE players, such as Jamie Gold. It takes a certain mental ability to fold 12 hours/day for 2-7 days. Obv you can make more in 1 pot then a lot of MTT but the skill in MTT is much more vast and requires so much mental alertness, like that of Jamie Gold.
