Exactly. Kids have jumped from 2* to 4* simply by committing to LSU. That bias throws the whole system off and makes it impossible to objectively judge recruiting classes on the * system. Seeing as objectively comparing recruiting classes is it's main use, that diminishes it's value greatly. It's only goof for comparing LSU to say, Michigan, not LSU to Wake Forest or Stanford or something.
