That and the fact that psych is such a huge area with so many different varieties (bio, developmental, cognitive, social, etc.) makes it hard for a whole lot of specifics to be covered in Intro Psych. It's basically just a glossing over of everything.

QFT. At my college it had the reputation of being the second easiest class there (just behind something called "Deep Listening," whatever that is).
