I assume you mean if we bet the turn and get called? That's a sticky situation and I can see arguments for bet/folding, check/calling, and check/folding.

Yeah, if we get called on the turn, what are we supposed to do on the river? It seems to me like there is no good plan for the river action once we're called on the turn.

This isn't a reason not to bet the turn, though. And it's not like checking the turn made the river any easier to play.

For what it's worth, I think if we bet and are called on the turn (and I do advocate a bet on the turn), the river is a pretty straightforward check/fold against most opponents.
