It's a tough spot indeed, but I don't think that justifies raising the flop because it has so many cons and I think most hands we fold out by raising the flop will check/fold the turn anyway given he's unlikely to 2nd barrel. So there's few benefits of raising the flop in terms of FE and it will put our strong draw in danger when villain's strong.

As long as you don't raise if he bets I think it's hard to mess up the hand on the turn, calling having 8 outs to the nuts and often 4 more good outs with 150bb behind will rarely be much of a mistake. I call 3/4 on the turn, it gets close to a fold if he pots.
