BRAG! complimented
I got a couple of huge compliments recently. One was from Matt. The other from Will. Will is a tournament director.
"I always think twice before sitting into a game with you man. You're tight and seemingly wreckless aggressive. I would stake you anytime man. You're a money maker."
"You won right? Yeah, I'd say I'm surprised, but I'm not. Yeah, that game last week? You made me $50 by the way. I bet on you and Scott making money and you sat and killed it. ... I'm afraid to sit across from you man you're $%^$#%^ scary!"
For me, receiving these compliments from these people means more than they or probably anyone realizes. Matt has been playing seriously (semi-pro) for about 6 years. He's been in the high stakes rooms in Vegas. In my very young eyes, HE is the one to be feared.
