It can be funny in specific situations where it applies. Example:
Dude I can't find my belt, did you take it?
Oh yeah I guess I did.
Well thanks douche, next time you take it why don't you use it to string yourself up by your ceiling fan.
The generic "kill yourself" response really isn't that funny.
And I realize my example sucks cause like, who the [censored] takes a belt, but you get the idea.
