I see it totally different. I doubt Hester runs many vertical routes, if at all, and instead a ton of horizontal, crossing stuff from the slot/wing to get seperation and/or force the defense to account for him.

It's gadgety, and like CC said won't make a huge impact overall, but with this kid you never know, and they want to see if they can get the ball in his hands a few times and see how much magic he has in that bottle.
