I've found a pair of sunglasses that I like, Maui Jim Pali. They retail for $299, and for the most part, they're $299 online as well. Then, I came across this EBAY auction:

This auction's willing to let them go at $199.99, and potentially even less if the best bid is lower. If it's that much cheaper than what everyone else seems to be selling them for, is it some sort of scam? I'm such an EBAY, and sunglass noob that I wouldn't even know if I got some imitation pair.

If I were you I would seek out an imitation pair. Not sure where you live, but here in Chicago the best place to buy sunglasses are the street vendors.
