Default Re: EDF: Evaluate my potential band\'s setlist

Good choices that should get the room going

Don't Stop Believing – Journey
Squeeze Box - The Who
The Joker/Remix to Igition - Steve Miller Band/R. Kelly
Rock N Roll All Nite - KISS
Midnight Rambler - Rolling Stones
I'm In Love With A Stripper - T Pain
Talk Dirty To Me - Poison
Lick it Up – KISS
Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw - Jimmy Buffett
Kick Out The Jams Mother [censored] - The MC5
Mama We're All Crazy Now – Slade
Raw Power - Iggy & The Stooges

Mississippi Queen – Mountain
Only if you have two guitarists with chops will this one work. Rhythm track is what makes the lead awesome. Do not attempt with one guitar player.

Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
A zillion better Stones songs than SMU. Try a newer one like “Driving too fast” or go retro with “Stray Cat Blues”. “One hit to the body” is easy and totally rocks.

Down by the River - Neil Young
I love Neil but DBTR will clear the room. Cinnamon Girl is the one

Helter Skelter - The Beatles
Not so good. If you want something from the While Album try WMGGW. If your guitarist can do Mississippi Queen he can probably do it pretty well.

Panama - Van Halen
Beautiful Girls a better VH bar song

We Don't Get Fooled Again - The Who
No way is your singer gonna do this justice

Fat Bottomed Girls – Queen
Big Bottom - Spinal Tap
Leave these out. Chicks don't like songs about big booty. Makes most of them feel self conscious.

Good luck with your return to playing out.
