I wouldn't do that.
The post in question may be wrong but it isn't improper. He's entitled to express his opinion and no *moderator* action is called for.
Of course mods are also posters and RR is 100% entitled to express his own opinion. But the way to do that is to reply in a new post. Editing someone else's post just because you disagree with them is disrespectful. Let him have his say without interference.
