Re: Poker in South America?
Lima, Peru:
Played in April there, two casinos: Marriot and Atlantic City. Both are located in the Miraflores district, usually where most turists stay.
I played 1/2 NL with a 5% rake (no limit on the rake, it sucked). Players were extremely passive, many buying short, and most of them horrible. IIRC they also had 2-4 limit, STT, and MTTs.
And dude, as a south american it offends me that you consider Aruba, Costa Rica, and the Bahamas as "South America". Seriously, "Poker south of the border" would be the most accurate title for your post.
