Take extreme caution.

If the tab has snapped off, but the locking pin remains in place - take a small plastic implement, like a pen (with the nib recessed / removed), and gently push the pin while "wobbling" the card - once it is past a certain point, it should be easy.

Of course, you will neeed to fully remove the pin before putting in a new card or you will have the same problem again.

If you can post pics of the locking mechanism, better advice will follow (I can't remember an A8N5X exactly)
