thanks for the replies... why am i raising this flop though? just because of 89? or d'ya htink i get value out of 9T,TJ etc? If i raise and get 1 caller the pots gonna be ~$40 with me having $33 behind. if the turn blanks should i be checking behind? basically, are we ahead and willing to felt it in that situation, or are we just gonna try get to SD cheaply?

say the flops T62r am i still raising flop?

thanks

Raise the flop to define your hand better (or, really, to get them to define theirs). You think that SB could donk with a ten, and that's true, but what is BB (seemingly solid player) calling while knowing he's got the preflop raiser to act behind? A draw? A set? Some other made hand? You may push out some hands that you have well beat, but if you just call, there's a higher likelihood you will be put into a tough spot.

As played on the flop, I would check behind the turn.
