Does a gamepad really make things that much easier?
If so, then how? (probably hard to describe, but try to enlighten me if you could).
[/ QUOTE ]I definitely find it much more comfortable to hold a light gamepad in my hands than keep my right wrist planted on the desk. There are bunches of people who
can't use a mouse for more than a couple hours. I'm not one of those; I just find it more comfortable.
It's also dramatically faster. Mousing from table to table, hitting the precise action button, is way slower than hitting "Right" then "bet". Physical buttons >> digital buttons.
KSOT's right that it's easier for a limit player than NL.
TableNavigator (written by a bunch of folk in the Software forum) does really well, though, using those controllers with 2 directionpads for seperate table-selection and bet-selection. But mostly TN is nice for navigation between tables quickly.
You
can find gamepads for super cheap. Check it out, if you're interested.
