I am not 100% of this, but it is a guess based on a few factors. Specifically, there is a special club that the top 20 kids in Wharton get invited to. I know many of the kids in the group as well as students who did not make it but also have very high GPAs. Based on how close my GPA is to that of the "borderline" top 20 kids, I feel it is a reasonable estimate. Also, since the top 20 group was formed, my GPA has been essentially straight As (whereas some in the group or others above me may have dropped down since many kids delay taking required classes they feel they will do poorly in until senior year).
