-The World is Flat (Friedman). Cool book about the globalization of our world and how technology is flattening labor chains.
-Baseball Prospectus 2007 (Kahrl, Goldstein, et. al.) - Great yearly book about baseball sabermetrics. Funny, informative, cheap.

Athletic Stuff:
-Therabands - use to stretch out and use as resistance training for your arms, legs, core, etc.
-Grips - use to increase wrist grip strength.
-Yoga ball - use to sit on and increase core strength and improve posture!
