Why "take our chances" on the turn? Do you not think Villain will put all of his money in on this flop? If so, why give him any opportunity to fold on the turn? If he is at all capable of folding whatever he has, he's more likely to do so when a spade or an ace falls on the turn. You're also slightly less likely to be ahead on the turn when he goes all in. Don't get me wrong: Villain is almost never folding this, and you are very rarely losing the hand. The flop is simply the better and surest street to get the money in.
