You cant really compare it at all. And no theres much more money in poker than pool and its not even close. I think the world champ would win like not even 200k usd...i could be way off but its not in the millions guarenteed. Its also a really cutthroat thing to do for a living as once you get to a certain level anybody can beat anybody on any given day.
Think of playing the tournament pool circuit like a 1k sng. Everyone there knows how to play and knows their [censored] (ICM and push/fold yada yada). The very best players will still win more overall but it could go either way and not much of an edge seperating them
