But check/raise and lead seems like a solid play as well, even better perhaps because if he raises the river then we can get away from it easier, it would show extreme strength and difficult to put him on worse than a queen.

I like your idea, but any c/r we make on the turn is a crai given stack sizes - we're only 100bb deep.
