Default Re: How can I not procrastinate in school work?

[ QUOTE ]
The main cause of procrastinator threads is that chronic procrastinators tend to write threads when they should be doing something else.

Ding ding ding!

Assuming that you're not a total bum, the schedule suggestion is the best one--prioritize what you have to do, figure out what's reasonable to do given the time you have, and do it when you plan on doing it. Ideally, you should finish what you plan on doing and maybe do a little more, thereby freeing up time for later in case something unexpected happens (like an unexpected homework or free bagels). A good thing to have is a pocket-sized notebook in which you can jot down quick notes on what you ought to do when. It doesn't even have to be that specific. Here's what I have for today:

TUESDAY: finish Analysis, get LA notes, maybe start DiffEq studying.

It will come naturally eventually.

ETA -- on the other hand, if you're not used to this, you might want to be more specific, figuring out specific times for specific subjects.
