sure, if I would go to xyz in 6 hours I would check out the thorntree (lonelyplanet) first. But just because there is a better forum out there for some specific recommendations regarding different locations doesn't mean the 2+2 travel forum is worthless as a repository.
And maybe somebody likes to hook up with some fellow poker players while on the road. Where should he look or post?
