oh, that's okay then.
I get it now - he finds explaining the obvious whilst actually keeping a modicum of civility a bit beyond his abilities, fair enough. His limitations are clear to all now, I guess, and we should make allowances for his 'special' way of doing things.
And to think, so many of us just put it down to him being a complete tool.
