A lot of slack happens in most non-manual labor jobs. The brain just doesn't tend to function at a high level for long periods of time, so you slack.
The manual labor equivalent, I suppose, might be sprinting in a marathon length job. Anyone seeing you mosey down the road might think you're slacking, but the reality is you can't sprint all day long, only in short bursts.
Not a good analogy, but best I can think of. However, even taking into account "necessary slack", most of us probably slack way too much [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
