Uh, no you can't get like a store extended warranty but getting those is -EV anyways. I think it has like a 1 year warranty & then you can probably get an extended one from PS themselves if you want it.

Ya I would never get a store warranty silly. I just meant like if you got a 360 and got the Red Rings of Doom, do you need any sort of proof of purchase when you send it in? How does Microsoft know it was purchased/won within their warranty period if you don't have a store receipt?
