Looks pretty dang good. Seems like a role DDL can really sink his teeth in. I'm definitely there.

I stand by my contention that had Magnolia been a tight 90 minutes focused soley on the Cruise-Hoffman-Robards storyline it would be considered one of the ten best films of the last 15-20 years. But it was almost unbearable to me as released.

Boogie Nights ftw goes without saying, of course. I liked Punch Drunk quite a bit, but that may be due to having a thing for Mary-Lynn Rajskub. I'm really not a big fan of Sandler, Watson, or Guzman most of the time, and I also think it's a rare misfire from Hoffman, so PTA obvo did a fine job directing & writing it.
