I guess raise>call>fold.

This is quite often wrong and we really need to think about what's happened so far up until this point.

There is nothing wrong w/ capping AK in the SB, just like there is nothing wrong w/ calling or even folding if the conditions are right.

MoM gave us some info and we should use it.

first raiser is a TAG, so figure a range. More importantly, the 3-bettor is loose, but "does not 3-bet light"... so put him on a range.

If his range is AJs+, TT+, AQo+ (reasonable for a 7 handed 3bet vs a TAG initial raise) and initial PFR has a range of : 77+,ATs+,KJs+,QJs,AJo+,KQo, then we look like so:

74,122,128 games 71.939 secs 1,030,346 games/sec

Board:
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 31.648% 24.18% 07.46% 17925415 5532688.83 { AKo }
Hand 1: 37.493% 31.71% 05.78% 23502653 4287677.83 { TT+, AJs+, AQo+ }
Hand 2: 30.860% 27.64% 03.22% 20486888 2386946.33 { 77+, ATs+, KJs+, QJs, AJo+, KQo }

So while out equity is just OK here, it is not great and worst of all we are out of position. Also capping here doesn't give us too much info regarding the first raiser unless he folds (which is always beneficial though).

In a situation like this, there is nothing wrong w/ just calling here and I do it often is the situation/action is similar to what was presented.
