That's true, but you're also going to get alot of value out of hands you beat with it, you haven't got a great deal invested in the pot right now, either, so folding a river that hits isn't going to hurt and it wont be a difficult decision. I'm not saying I would check, but is there any merit to it at all?
Also, as an aside, we could be the ones needing to draw to the free card, not them...I find it hard to believe they'd lay down a turned flush to a rivered boat the way the hand was played, too.
