I also took the trip on Memorial Day weekend (I was there for the wife's family), so the casino was a quick 3 hour distraction for me. The drive is between 2 and 2.5 hours worth of driving from San Antonio.
IMO, the casino was a lot worse than I expected. You had to pay for your own drinks, the chips were all old, broken and dirty; the chairs were office chairs - decent, but I expected better, and one of the tables I played at had a large recess in the middle of the table. One would think there would be a big hole if it weren't for the felt.
I'd hate to sound all picky - even their website was down before that weekend (seems to be up now). Yet, the slots were all electronic, I did not see any traditional three wheel slots.
A few little changes, and the poker room could be a lot better.
