I guess this is mostly correct. But at the Horseshoe-tunica for example there are many BJ players who whine and complain a LOT if their table is too near the band on a night when they are particularly loud.
Obviously they have some options to try to get further away from the band if it bothers them that much.

I remember playing in a casino in the NE that I eventually worked at and absolutely LOVED being near the band. (Bj/Craps). The main reason besides being able to psuedo dance in my chair, without being alcohol induced as they didn't serve, was that I didn't have to hear some schmuck douche telling me what I should and shouldn't do with my $10 bets and how to play my cards.
