Re: $20\'s-HU-Villain pushing in dark-waiting for a better edge??
I don't think I ever get to HU at 80/160 to begin with. Also, it's rare that villain will overshove here for his stack w/ 95% of the time.
Those were my intuitive hand ranges for this particular situation where villain is shoving ATC near 100% of the time. Obviously I don't call off my chips with this range at this blind level vs normal opponents.
If a regular started doing it to me and I knew he was pushing ATC, I figure passing up +ev spots for larger +ev spots is kinda wasteful. Also, even though the blinds are significant, your stack gets worn away (not as significant with a bigger chip lead) until you pick up a primo hand...
I'll run it in sngpt now.
Here are the results: If SB is shoving ATC, BB should call w/ 22+,A2+,K2+,Q5o+,Q2s+,J8o+,J5s+,T8o+,T7s+,98s (50.5%). The range I advocated is pretty close to this, tho a little tighter. I have min edge at 0.2%.
If you can accurately pinpoint opponent's ranges, I will not pass up any +ev call.
Where's my leak now? Lol I am just joking, don't take that as an insult.
